Magic Library [32×32]

“The wooden shelves of this great library, straining under the weight of thousands of books, tomes, and scrolls, climb to a vaulted ceiling high above your party. You step into the quiet of the hall, seeking answers scrawled on ancient, yellowed pages , for questions you barely understand.

As you wander further into the library, scanning the spines of leatherbound volumes as you go, you become aware of a muffled voice from somewhere among the circle of shelves at its center. The sound seems to grow clearer the further you delve, and you realize the voice is chanting in a language you don’t recognize, growing more and more frenzied with every repetition of its mantra.

By the time you get there, it is too late – you watch as the mage closes the book in his hands, and the shelves around you melt away – tentacles spill out of the voids left behind, and in the darkness, a thousand eyes open and turn their attention to you.”

Magic Library is a 32×32 map of a great library, its shelves laden with a wealth of knowledge, and perhaps even a few eldritch secrets yet to be unleashed by some errant wizard?

This map, as usual, comes with a number of tiles to adjust the encounter to your needs, and has been set up with walls, lighting, and interactive tiles in our Foundry VTT module!
