Palace Ballroom [62×26]

“As you step into the grand ballroom of the palace, you are immediately enveloped in an atmosphere of opulence and festivity. The spacious hall sprawls before you, its polished marble floor gleaming under the soft glow of crystal chandeliers suspended from the high ceiling.
A gentle warmth emanates from the crackling fireplace nestled in one corner, casting flickering shadows across the room. Nearby, three massive tables groan under the weight of sumptuous delicacies, their enticing aromas tantalizing your senses.
In the opposite corner, a small stage hosts a troupe of musicians, their instruments poised to fill the air with melodies that promise to enchant and enthrall.
Yet, amidst the elegance and revelry, your attention is drawn to the three towering mirrors strategically positioned along one wall.
As you gaze upon them, an inexplicable sensation washes over you, a feeling of otherworldly energy pulsating from their reflective surfaces. Unbeknownst to the unsuspecting guests, these mirrors conceal a secret: they are portals to a parallel realm beyond the looking glass, a realm of mystery and decay waiting to be discovered.”

In the ballroom, customizable tiles offer diverse possibilities. Three mirrors grace one wall, each capable of severing the connection between worlds if shattered, with conditions for their destruction at the your discretion. Additionally, a tile accommodates magical necromantic rituals, available to both sides. Gargoyles, on the right side of the room, can be removed from the map with a dedicated tile.
The stands proudly display royal relics, ripe for the taking, potentially inciting adventurers to embark on a journey into the mirror realm. Lastly, lighting variations contribute to the ambiance, with warm, conventional lighting emanating from the left side and a mystical, bluish glow casting an otherworldly aura over the right.

This map comes with a number of tiles to tailor the encounter to your needs, and has been set up with walls, lighting, and interactive elements for our Foundry VTT module.
